Tiernan
Hey, I'm Tiernan and I'm a multi award winning wind instrumentalist, composer, improviser and performer.

I hold a performance degree from TUD Conservatory of Music and Drama, and I play a diverse repertoire of music for clarinet and saxophone. My main genres are classical, jazz and contemporary.

From a young age, I have been participating in music competitions. I have twelve placed awards in the Wind Instrumentation category from various competitions, including some at national level. I am particularly proud to be the first musician to win the Millennium Trophy two years in succession at the Kilkenny Music Festival.

My versatile skills have led me to perform music in a huge variety of settings. One the highlights for me was a performance at the National Concert Hall with the TUD Symphony Orchestra. In stark contrast to this, was a pop and blues set at Electric Picnic.

I enjoy collaborating with different bands and orchestras. Indeed, between 2011 to 2019 I have worked with more than a dozen different bands and groups.

I have completed RIAM Grade 8 in clarinet performance, with honours.

I'm available for gigs and bookings. I am equally happy to be accompanied by bands, piano, guitar or DJs. Just ask!
